Formosa 婆娑鳥刺繡外套

全件採用黑底黑刺繡呈現：

手臂位置為蜈蚣圖樣（取自〈正在甦醒的身體〉），象徵感知沿著身體蔓延與甦醒；背面主體為婆娑鳥刺繡（取自〈引領我者〉），作為內在行進時的引導象徵。肩部繡有 Formosa 字樣，隱約浮現於布面之上。

版型跳脫傳統刺繡外套的復古輪廓，重新調整比例與線條，使整體更貼近當代日常穿著的節奏，在內斂之中保留細節層次。

90% Nylon / 10% Spandex

採用高纖維強度且具親水特性的尼龍，混紡彈性纖維，使布料在保有挺度的同時具備良好延展性與穿著舒適度。冬季不易產生靜電，並經後工藝輕度防潑水處理，適合日常長時間穿著與多變環境使用。

This jacket is conceived as a wearable extension of two works, The One Who Guides Me and The Awakening Body, presented in Chris Liang’s Tokyo solo exhibition Infiltrating the Boundary. The symbolic language of guidance, awakening, and corporeal perception is translated into a garment that exists between image and form.

The entire piece is rendered in black-on-black embroidery, allowing its narrative to remain understated and intimate.

A centipede motif appears along the arm—drawn from The Awakening Body—suggesting sensation traveling across the body, slowly coming into awareness. The back is marked by the embroidered Formosan bird, derived from The One Who Guides Me, functioning as a quiet emblem of inner direction. The word Formosa is stitched onto the shoulder, emerging subtly from the surface of the fabric.

Departing from the nostalgic silhouette of traditional embroidered jackets, the proportions and lines are recalibrated for a contemporary presence. The form aligns with the rhythm of everyday movement, preserving layers of detail beneath a restrained exterior.

Constructed from high-strength, hydrophilic nylon blended with elastic fiber, the fabric maintains structural clarity while offering fluid flexibility and comfort. Naturally resistant to static in colder seasons and finished with a light water-repellent treatment, the jacket is designed to accompany prolonged wear and shifting environments with quiet reliability.
